SPRING 2026 SESSION
Ethan grew up playing water polo in his hometown of Honolulu, Hawai'i as a 2nd generation water polo player for 'Iolani School. Ethan competed at Junior Olympics for Bay Area powerhouse, San Jose Express. Recruited to play Divison 1 water polo at San Jose State University, Ethan gained valuable experience at the collegiate level. Most recently, Coach Ethan competed for OC Riptide in USA Water Polo's premier National League. Coach Ethan is eager to grow the sport of water polo in Hawaii, and to mentor the next generation of Hawaii water polo players.
Alex grew up playing water polo in the Sacramento area for California Republic Water Polo Club and his local high school, Ponderosa High. After high school, he committed to California Lutheran university, but a shoulder injury brought him back to his hometown, where he began coaching. Alex has coached with California Republic Water Polo Club (12U and 14U Head Coach) and Granite Bay High School (JV Boys Head Coach). He brings a plethora of knowledge and skills to the program!
Abbey grew up in Roseville, California, where she was introduced to water polo 13 years ago at the age of 7. She played for her high school team, local club teams, and ODP teams until she graduated. After High School, Abbey went on to attend Biola University to play D2 collegiate water polo. After sustaining an injury, she moved back to her hometown and began coaching. Abbey has coached for California Republic Water Polo (12U co-ed and 14U girls), and Granite Bay High School (JV girls). Abbey brings a wealth of knowledge to our club!
